Created by DCC, Cause Flash is a unique digital platform that aggregates the social media voices of renowned celebrities, organizations and the public at large, to raise global awareness and funds for important causes and campaigns. By leveraging the power of followers and fans, Cause Flash instantly launches focused appeals to address and promote some of the greatest issues of the day to a global audience.

The concept is simple, at a prearranged date selected due to an association with a relevant social justice issue, DCC launches a social media campaign with branded messaging around a specific cause. The campaign consists of the aggregated “Social Media Voices” (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram followers) of prominent individuals and organizations so a specific cause message instantly reaches the social media feeds of a massive, global audience of millions of followers and fans. The campaign messaging also invites the followers and fans to share the message with their own followers – further amplifying the Cause Flash.

The immediate global reach of Cause Flash social campaigns makes them extremely effective in promoting the various DCC Cause Brands and additional causes DCC supports. To date, the aggregated total Social Media Voice of all Cause Flashes has topped 6 Billion. In addition, Cause Flash has produced the largest social media campaigns for the United Nations for the last six years in a row.

In 2003, he relocated to Dublin Ireland, whereas CEO of Amnesty International’s Art for Amnesty he created and managed all global art and music initiatives for the Nobel Peace Prize winning organization. Following his stint in Dublin, Clark returned to New York to found David Clark Cause.
