The Right Here, Right Now Global Climate Alliance and global partner United Nations Human Rights launched COP27 in Sharm El-Sheikh Egypt on November 6, 2022 with a Cause Flash that asked world leaders, assembled dignitaries, and everyone assembled for the UN Climate Change Conference, that it is critical for everyone to view climate change as a human rights crisis. The Cause Flash results were announced to the media at the Right Here, Right Now Press Conference held on November 6th at COP27.

The Right Here, Right Now Global Climate Alliance is an international initiative created to take on climate change as the human rights crisis that leading scientists and human rights advocates, including the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, have declared it to be. This climate justice movement is committed to work with world leaders, policy-makers, NGOs, foundations, businesses, academics, scientists, and influencers that include celebrities, athletes, artists, and musicians.
Since it was announced at COP26 in Glasgow, the Right Here, Right Now Global Climate Alliance has emerged as the largest public + private climate partnerships in the world.
