Water Now celebrates UN World Water Day so children receive the clean water they deserve.

Water Now is a Cause Brand created by David Clark Cause to raise funds and awareness so people can have access to clean water. The Water Now social media initiative is in partnership with UN World Water Day and supports World Vision Water, the leading water NGO in the developing world.

“It is such an honor to partner with UN Water’s World Water Day, in order to support World Vision, the largest and most effective non-governmental agency delivering clean water to the developing world today,” said Water Now and Cause Flash Founder, David Clark. “We’re also very grateful to all participating celebrities and the public who lent their social media voices so children could have something as simple as clean water.”

UN-Water is the United Nations inter-agency coordination mechanism for all freshwater related issues, including sanitation. Building on a long history of coordination in the UN System, UN-Water was formalized in 2003 by the United Nations High Level Committee on Programmes. It provides the platform to address the cross-cutting nature of water and maximize system-wide coordinated action and coherence. UN-Water promotes coherence in, and coordination of, UN system actions aimed at the implementation of the agenda defined by the Millennium Declaration and the World Summit on Sustainable Development as it relates to its scope of work.
