David Clark creates the “Red White & Blue Award,” which is designed to be presented by cities to hometown heroes who never wavered in support of their towns and their local charities. The Red White & Blue Award gives cities the chance to say “thank you” to those homegrown greats who never forgot where they came from. Past recipients include:
City of Asbury Park salutes Bruce Springsteen, with Red White & Blue weekend featuring Clarence Clemons and Robert Randolph performing at The Stone Pony.
City of Cincinnati salutes Oscar “The Big O” Robertson with benefit concert at Taft Theater by Brian McKnight.
City of Boston salutes Doug Flutie, with the iconic band Boston performing with the Boston Pops at Symphony Hall.
