Solution
Clark leveraged the global United Nations brand and Official UN observances which require all 192 Member States to ratify them. In 2001 Clark met with the United Nations which identified anti-poverty as their emphasis for the year.
Recognizing that George Harrison had staged the iconic Concert For Bangladesh 30 years prior, for UNICEF, which aided the poor of Bangladesh, Clark proposed inviting Mr. Harrison to stage the 30th Anniversary of his historic concert on United Nations World Poverty Day, so every Member State of the United Nations could support and promote it. The United Nations agreed, and Clark invited Mr. Harrison on behalf of the UN to host the concert at Madison Square Garden and join him as an Executive Producer. Mr. Harrison graciously agreed, and during the initial stages of productions, Mr. Harrison became ill and subsequently passed away.
